About Southern Oaks Event Center
The History
Many of you may remember this space as Braden Hall, a once very popular local dance hall. After changing ownership, the building was donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley so that the Columbus Club could operate out of it's own space outside of the Columbus ISD. In the fall of 2018, the venue opened it's doors as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley - Columbus Club!
Now known as the Southern Oaks Event Center, the venue can be rented as a multi-use event space - from weddings to family functions to a meeting space for local businesses and organizations.

The primary use of the building is the Columbus Boys & Girls Club. Only Club staff and Club members will have access to the building during the Club hours listed below. All rental parties will not have access to the building until after Club hours.
