Who We Are
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.
Boys & Girls Clubs offer more than that. Since 2004, we have provided programs and services that promote and enhance the development of Weimar, Schulenburg and Columbus youth by instilling a sense of competence, belonging, usefulness and influence.
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow- all while having fun. It is the place where all great futures are started each and every day.

What We Do
Five Core Program Areas:
- Education & Career Development
- Club members create aspirations for the future providing oportunities for career exploration and educational enhancement.
- Character & Leadership Development
- Helping our youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs.
- Health & Life Skills
- These initiatives develop young people's capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurtures their own well-being.
- The Arts
- Programs in this core area enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness.
- Sports, Fitness & Recreation
- These Club programs help develop fitness, a positive use of leisure time, reductions of stress, appreciation of the environment, and social and interpersonal skills.
